The North Face is one of the biggest names in outdoor sports and lifestyle brands, with a ton of rich content and brand equity. They came to Fluid with a clear, ambitious goal; Integrate The North Face's extensive library of athlete, expedition and technology content alongside their product shopping experience to create an aspirational shopping destination for the outdoor enthusiast.

The Challenge

The North Face's parent company had also decided to move all the companies under their umbrella to the same content management system to simplify their operations, so our biggest challenge was to create unique and ownable brand experience with the limitations of a relatively rigid CMS. The result was everything we set out to accomplish, and a huge improvement from their legacy eCommerce experience, and made thenorthface.com the single highest source of income for the company.
